Training Classes are being conducted at ICFAI Offices in various cities four times a year for the benefit of the students. These Training Classes help the candidates to have a better conceptual clarity and right orientation for the examinations. The quarterly schedule of the Classes help the candidates plan systemically for the examinations and progress through the programs much faster.
The MBA Program- The MBA Program is designed to provide both a portfolio of strong functional skills and the ability to apply, adapt, and integrate those skills in different management settings. While the curriculum provides a rigorous grounding in traditional disciplines, the educational process - with its emphasis on new strategy and managerial skills - develops the skills for problem solving, decision-making, and leadership of complex organizations.
Integrated Learning Approach ICFAI UNIVERSITY has evolved a learning approach that consists of several distinct stages. These stages are designed to add significant value to the candidates? understanding of the subject in an incremental manner.
Self-Study: All candidates are provided with a comprehensive study package specially designed for independent study, consisting of comprehensive study guides, textbooks, workbooks, self-evaluation assignments, model question papers and list of recommended textbooks. In this stage, candidates are expected to achieve a prescribed level of knowledge through self-study. Assignments for Self Evaluation: The study package includes self- evaluation assignments, which help candidates to evaluate their own academic progress.
Training Classes (Optional): To supplement the knowledge acquired through self-study, conducts Training Classes, four times a year at the ICFAI Centers in major cities (subject to registration of a minimum number of candidates at each city). Attending these classes is optional. Case Study Approach: Case-based learning is introduced to help the candidates familiarize themselves with the situations of Indian and International companies and how they are addressed.
Examinations: The examinations are the final assessment of the candidates? understanding of the subject. These examinations will be based on a format similar to the model question papers supplied to the students in the study package. The MBA examinations are conducted four times a year in January, April, July and October.
Integrated Case Studies: Candidates are required to present Analysis on Integrated Cases as a part of the Stage III of the MBA Program. The purpose of the Case Analysis is to provide candidates an opportunity to put theoretical knowledge to practice. Details are provided in Candidates Regulations.
Eligibility: The MBA Program is designed for the benefit of the following candidates:Diplomas(10+2+3), Graduates and Postgraduates (from any discipline) ,Professionals like CFAs, CAs, CWAs, CSs, CAIIBs
Duration: The MBA Program can be completed in a period of two years. However, the maximum period permitted for completing the MBA Program is seven years.
