I wrote this in response to a specific post but for the sake of visibility and the importance of the subject I feel it requires a seperate thread.

There is a lot of spam in many Indian message boards.

For example http://www.talkingcity.com is composed exclusively and entirely of this.

indiabook.com is at this moment mercifully spared but the status quo will not remain if measures are not taken to assure an uncluttered arena for discussion.

Don't moderators have a duty to control this? "

The spam infested web site is http://www.onlineindian.com, not talkingcity.com

Well yes I agree and http://www.talkingcity.com is going on fine without any spams and as for this forum I am doing my best along with other moderators to maintain the forum.Rest if we have support of members like you then we can do this in a better way.
Do keep on sending us your reviews and suggestions and we can improve.
