Everyone knows that Bangaluru (Bangalore) is the Silicon Valley of India. However, as the prices have becoming soaring high in Bangaluru, Hyderabad is becoming the next IT hub of India.
My question is: Has the talent of India all been discovered? I mean India has more than 1 Billion people and those people don't just live in couple of cities. So, will there be boom in cities in Gujurat, Punjab, Haryana, and how about Assam and other easter states?
I am sure that India has a long way to go and will keep progressing and producing top IT opportunities for the rest of the world and itself. Initially, many overseas companies established in Bangaluru, Chennai, Mysore and other southern cities because more engineers graduated from there (mainly because the southern states are very large in size and the population is a lot higher than in other smaller states). However, as these cities become more expensive to live in and do business in, I feel the companies will move to other cities. Already, many companies are settling in Ahmadabad (Gujarat) and Kolkata is deemed to be one of the next IT hub of India. New Delhi already has IT cities established (Noida, Gurgaon) and Mohali is picking up in Punjab as well. I feel there is a lot of talent in eastern states of India like Assam and other states in the vicinity, as well. In this IT boom, the eastern states have barely gained anything and they are very much behind. However, it is still cheap there, and I feel it can produce vast amount of engineers for India once the companies start showing some interest in them.
If India is to become a prosperous nation, it has to progress together? Thats what I feel.
