Guru Dattatreya Jayanthi special homams were conducted successfully by Lord's Grace and by enthusiastic patronage of many noble souls. Guruji conducted Ganapathy homam, Medha Dakshinamurthi homam, Dhanvantri homam, Dattatreya homams (using powerful mantras from upanishads on Dattatreya), and Shri Karthaveeryarjuna homam at his residence/ office at Chennai where he has reserved a room for performance of these rituals.

During the poornahuti (grand final oblation), prayers were offered for world peace and for removal of evils and disasters afflicting mankind. Guruji said that the next 6 years are going to be years of transformation and we should all keep our fingers crossed in these tumultous years. Only Divine Grace can protect us now. Of course we have all seen that year 2005 was unprecedented in the magnitude of disasters afflicting every part of the world. Guruji has requested EVERYONE to pray for the collective good of the humanity to reduce the impact of the collective karma that we as a race have gathered due to our irreverent attitude towards nature.
