At Better Technology Labs (http://better.co.in/hiring) you’ll not just be writing codes rather your will be helping us spec out each product and innovate on future versions.You will be responsible for developing production-level code as well as proof-of-concepts and prototypes.
You will work primarily with Ruby on rails and PHP, procedural and object-oriented design, dynamic content retrieval, performance optimization techniques, unit testing techniques, debugging techniques, state management, HTTP, and Apache. You will be working within a Linux and primarily open-source environment.
You will take a ownership of your individual projects and utilize your hands-on experience to interface and collaborate on parallel projects.
You will be writing standards-compliant complex CSS, XHTML, JavaScript, within a small group in a start-up development environment.
Core Skills: Ruby on Rails, PHP, MySQL, HTML, XML, Web Services, Web Design, Advanced Database Design
Optional Skills: Javascript, UI Design, Perl, Web Services APIs, Ability to party till 3 am and still show up at work at 9 completely lucid
