Vajpayee announced his retirement

Former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee announced his retirement from electoral politics at a gathering of his supporters in Mumbai. :eek:

Mr Vajpayee served as India’s top elected official from 1998 to 2004.

Mr Vajpayee’s announcement was unexpected despite his failing health, and coupled with the anticipated weekend resignation of current BJP president Lal Krishna Advani.

He had done good job for nation now no need for him to stand in election, He also need peace of mind..... he is a respectable great Indian and good human one thing more I want to add the way BJP internal matter was coming in media from few days, it is better for Honest Mr. Vajpayee to say good bye to politics...:)
