We will be travelling to India in November and not sure whats the best thing to do, we want to visit north india and travel around the triangle and then visit Mumbai and then go to Goa for a week on the beach.
Now whats the best way to travel once in India, and if we took a train from Mumbai to Goa how long would the train journey be and what is first class like?
Its difficult to know a cost and time when we are unsure how long we want to spend in one place.
Many thanks x

First class is fantastic in train. It is the best thing to do. Go on a train in first class coaches. Best way is to see the beauty of Himalayas, then for sure visit Goa and if possible then Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Then you should visit HImachal, New Delhi, Uttarnachal, Goa, Mumbai, Sikkim and then Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
2.5 weeks tour won't take more then $1000 per person.

Andaman and Nicobar (http://www.indiabook.net/archives/2005/12/01/andaman-nicobar-island/) Island is very place to visit. In India, There are various Tour operators who offers the best service at most competitive cost. They provide the services of their own fleet of comfortable, luxurious staying and all facilities of cars or buses to make their customer feel like in home.
You can also visit Goa (http://www.megri.com/blog/2005/11/26/goa-in-india/), enjoy the precious scenes of its beaches. Kerala also have around 20 beaches. There is no end of enjoyment in India.
Visit once always pressurise to visit again and again to the beautiful country.
