This is a poem which i wrote myself about India.

The Profile of India

A country of will power and passion situated in the east.
Where uniformity you will find the least.
People of different religion and colour live happily together,
And this peace and harmony will not be destroyed ever.
From brown, black, oriental and white to
Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Jains and Hindu
Who live with Bahai, Buddhists, Jews and Parsi
just like a big family.

This is a land of a million Gods and Goddesses
Who has gifted us with so many blesses.
Were snow-covered adn rocky lands and mountains are in the north,
and plateaus, coastal areas and arid lands are in the central and the south.
The world's one of the most fertile plains are in the east,
And world's one of the most dry desert to the west.

People are ready to take any challenge on any day
Who follow their culture and tradition every day
THey have made progress in every field,
From science, technology, military, arts and movies to sports field.

This is a land of songs and festivals
This is a land of one million Gods and Goddesses

Here nature's splendour and beauty is incomparable,
Diversity is innumerable,
Unity among us is unbreakable.
This is the country I come from
This is the place I live in.

Thanks you very much megrisoft and arti. After a long time somebody praised me on my poem. My parents kept on saying that this was a very childish poem. Thank you very much.

One thing i got to know about you guys. You guys are really encouraging and really good person.

I also had one more thing to say. In our school here in Toronto our class had to do a powerpoint presentation and a written presentation on a 7 day tour to a country. I choose India and did a powerpoint presentation which is 54 MB size. Having pictures of all our natural beauty and everything.
It was a 20 minute long presentation talking about greatness of India and profile of India.
There were 20 other countries participating but India was choosen as the best destination to travel to after my presentation. Before my presentation India was ranked 19th among 21st and now it is 1st beating the second highest country UK by 21%.
I was so happy. India beat others.
I just wanted to tell you guys about India's victory in here.

i have written some other poems but those are not that great. That's what i think.

Thanks for the compliment. Superb achievement you got over India. Indians are always on the top in other countries. That's why these countries are hiring Indian talent at every cost.
Your poem was mind blowing. But don't ever hide your talent. Show others as much you can.
Don't hesitate to post other one's. We are sitting here to read and comment on them. Best of luck for your future contests in your school.
Show them that Indians are not behind of others, They always walk by keeping them other behind them.

Ofcourse Indians are not behind others but there are some Indians outside India who always likes to talk bad about India. But i won't give up and always put India forward. The reason: cause we deserve that place and we are the best.

I do write poems,but now-a-days I dont get enough time to write a poem myself due to job,and the above poem is written by our India's President "Mr.APJ Abdul Kalam".
