New Delhi:- (PTI): In a novel way to promote tourism in the North East and remove "sense of alienation" among people of the region, the Centre on wednesday sought cooperation from its employees, asking them to visit the region and make it a favourite tourist destination.
Minister for Development (http://www.addyoururl.org/index.php?search=Development) of North Eastern Region (DoNER) Mani Shankar Aiyar said his ministry wanted to promote the region as a destination for the government officials travelling (http://www.addyoururl.org/index.php?search=travelling) on Leave Travel Concession (LTC) and has already sent a proposal to the Finance Ministry to allow air travel facility under LTC.
