Is this corporate culture...

I am new to the corporate world, so am equally new to the ways of this world.
Last week we had a office picnic, where i got to see some of the prevalent things in this entirely different community- that of the corporates. It may not sound very odd, or for that matter not even something worth mentioning, but as i said i am new to all these..... It all began in the bus on our way to the picnic spot, when some of these corporate citizens started drinking.... this was not all... they even offered the ladies to join them..... may be this is justified in the name of corporate culture... but how far is it correct? for us, Indians it surely looks odd.....excuse me if i sound too orthodox. would seriously like to accumulate views on this...... please respond with your views.....

I don't know in western countries drinking and smoking for women is normal but as far as i think both men and women shouldn't drink and smoke as it is harmful to their body and health.

soumyasarcar in your bus male showed their real character... for male picnic day is drinking day... Male is your bus were trying to show that they are more civilized by drinking and offering that drink to women....
But that same Male will not like to offer wine to their daughter, sister or wife...

Yea this is the actual corporate world what you had seen....

For most of people, just to drink wine and alcohol is the way to have fun, like all field there is exploitation of employee in corporate sector also ...

Boss those who are not morally correct try to sexually abuse their employee they may be girl or boy.

Some employee try to entertain their boss by different different way which is not realted to their profession.... doing job means we are servant but not slave but some boss think their employee are slave.

To reach on top female and male employee do many immoral things ... in corporate world we called it socialising... & those who don't do such things they are consider as dull and lazy...

We are human being and our society is like jungle...

so most of people say growup and be practical

I don't know but my few other friend say that their are many female co-worker who work with them do immoral act to get promotion in job and hick in salary.
They say their are lot of politics on their job in corporate sector they also say you can't trust anyone on your job place, all will try to project them as good by projecting you bad
