British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has again spoken of his country's support for a greater role for India in world affairs, at the United Nations as well as top international institutions like the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.
Brown began the second day of his India visit with an address to CEOs of top Indian and British companies at the Taj Mahal hotel in New Delhi this morning.
Favoring India's bid for a permanent seat in the United Nations, Brown said on Sunday in New Delhi that India should be a permanent member of the UN Security Council.
He also pitched for India's prominent role in the G-8.
Speaking at an entrepreneurship summit in New Delhi, Brown said that there is no future without including India, which is a fast-moving economy (http://www.addyoururl.org/index.php?search=economy).
