NEW DELHI:- A young woman and a man were killed in separate road accidents involving Blueline buses in the Capital on Wednesday. While one of the bus drivers has been arrested, a hunt is on for the other.
According to the police, the first accident took place near Mayapuri Road T-point around 9-15 a.m. when 35-year-old Poonam of Kirti Nagar was getting off a Blueline bus plying on route 108 from Hari Nagar to Nehru Vihar. As she alighted from the moving vehicle, she lost balance and fell under its rear wheels.
The bus driver vanished from the scene after abandoning the vehicle. Poonam was rushed to Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital where her condition deteriorated and she succumbed to her injuries around 7 p.m...Read... (http://www.hindu.com/2008/01/24/stories/2008012460900300.htm)
