Title: Content Developer Technical Writer
Rapidly growing American company is seeking highly skilled, self-motivated content writers to support our dynamic production department on a contract basis. The continued success of our company has created outstanding opportunities for high quality content developers and technical writers to research and create content for online training courses covering many different subjects and industries.
The ideal candidates will be outstanding writers who have a proven ability to independently manage all aspects of instructional design. Applicants must be able to research and write high quality course content quickly. In addition to having absolute command of English writing skills, applicants should be strong individual contributors with a team mentality.
Job Type: Contract
Responsibilities:
Work remotely with our companys instructional designers to scope, research, and write course content.
Maintain the quality of existing courses by modeling course documentation techniques, formats, styles, and tools.
Write a wide variety of courses, ranging from general soft skills to technical courses in medical, automotive, and other fields.
Requirements:
College degree, with two years of writing experience.
Ability to execute all aspects of the job with minimal supervision.
Excellent writing skills, with an emphasis on creating easy-to-understand material.
Strong research skills.
Ability to write, assimilate, and organize high quality content quickly.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent command of English language skills.
Computer access, Internet access, and strong computer skills.
