pounding thuds

the heart explodes



palms so wet

they could corrode



on the edge

about to leap



mussels freeze

its time to speak

I remember staging my first public speech.
I trembled like i am going to die and finished my memorised speech hastily. Have progressed much from there but the memory is still there.

dense be the smell
of the open rain

thick and moist
it clouds the brain

stuck on a line
for a word or two

bring on a sign
a change of view

time for a read
or a book review
