Well if you think youve experienced a nightmare - wait - hold on to your seat and go and open an NRI account with Citibank - youll soon understand what the words horror and nightmare combined mean. They really really ensure that you are put thru the worst you can ever imagine. My nightmare began when I deposited a dollar cheque as I needed rupees in India for a medical emergency. It took them hours to debit my Australian account - but weeks later there is no chance of seeing any Rupees. What is worse their customer service is non existent. Well moral of the story is if you really have been having too good a time and want to know what a nightmare really means - go ahead and open an NRI account with Citibank - theyll give you all the thrills u need to make your life more interesting.

The best bank is ICICI bank or SBI. They are trustable and the interest rate is also high. If i have to make an account i will make account in those banks only.
