India should outsourcing Doctors

India with it huge percentage of medical expert should open their service to north american and europeans. The cost for Doctors in United-states and Canad are so high while in India a Doctor with the same quality is payed less.I had the idea of for a small city with hotels where sick people from north america could spend money and be treated for their illness in same time. India need more hospitals and need to attract more north americans.

yes we do need the facilities to develop. but don't you think that india has enough problems in its hands right now. this question would be appropriate after a few months or so. on the contrary i wish that india could also add this to their priority list.

Yup first India should look at serving its other people in remote villages then serving those other stupid developed countries.

India produces so many freaking doctors every year but still the doctor to patient ratio is.

1 doctor:10,000 patients

while for North America it is less then 50 patients for each doctor. So what do they want. Can't they handle that much pressure too.

Yup that's why i sometimes hate Indians. THey run abroad even if they have enough money in India. That's the reason I want to come back to India and do something for India.

Some things really prove that how efficient our doctors are. As i mentioned before in Canada 1 doctor has 33 patients and still they take so long to operate. While in India it is like 10,000 patients for 1 doctor and still they perform high quality successful operations in India in lesser time then there.

Isn't this a moot point? India is taking concrete steps to increase medical tourism. It is expected to bring in $2 billion by 2012 and is growing at 30% per year. The leaders in this field are the Apollo Hospital Enterprises. I don't think it is a problem for India as there are plenty of doctors already graduating. With increased amounts of foreign money it will increase best practices and hygeine in India and provide funds for more coverage for Indians. What is a shame is that India only spends about 2% of GDP on health (compared to 6% in China) and this is the reason disease is rife in India. The government must act on this if India is to improve the lot of our people.

I am sorry to inform this to everyone, but Doctors don't get paid got at all in India. I mean, we have so many doctors that many times they can't even find proper jobs. This is the story of India. People can't find job, so they go overseas or become corrupt. Its simple.
Thats why everyone wants to become an engineer now in India.
