Anyone got any clues about processing times for spouse visas to UK from Mumbai? We were told 2 days to get the letter for the interview and it's been nearly two weeks - they just keep saying the application has been forwarded to the High Commission. Anyone have experience of this??? thanks

is it true that no one else that uses this forum is trying to come to the uk on a spouse visa???? Seems like lots of postings from lawyers looking for business but no real people just in the same position as me. A great forum???

gosh - i haven't bothered with this forum as no useful response. (sorry miqsh) Anyone applying for a Uk visa should go to UKresident.com. A very serious and brilliant forum. I use it all the time. Sadly no one from India in my situation is using it at the moment so I can't get an answer to my question, but loads of wonderful advise. Last year, the government statistics say that 28,000 people from Mumbai alone applied for visas to the UK (I assume this means tourist, student, family, spouse, fiance visa etc)
If you are trying to come to the UK from India on any kind of visa, I really think this forum is more relevant to you. I hope to find some of you there!
Right , Well it should not take time at all , I am not scaring you though. My friends spouses had their passports stamped and in Hand within 5 days of the application. No interviews nothing.Put your documents together properly and processing times are nothing , trust me I am not lying !!
