Beware of Brigade Builders in Bangalore.

I booked a apartment with Brigade builders in B'lore. As per the agreement they were scheduled to handover the apartment on 1st Jun 2004. They were behind the schedule by 9 months and handed over the apartment on 1st Mar. The quality of work, finishing and fittings are very poor. In addition as per the agreement they need to provide 1 basement valet parking. They did provide it to me....but there was a pillar in the car park which effectively reduces the parking space by 1.5 meters in width and 1 m by length. Based on my experience, It is a nightmare dealing with brigade and pls refrain from purchasing apartments from Brigade. Pls forward this msg as appropriate to warn our fellow citizens on dealing with Brigade. In the project where I purchased my apartment, there are 5 blocks amounting to 780 apartments and not even one resident of this enclave is happy about this.

Isn't that the case with most builders in India. They are all crooks, period.

You just drag that very builder in consumer court, because you have done all the required thing but you are not getting the committed flat. So do the same as soon as possible. Its very simple just go to your city consumer court.
