Need Input from Indian Women considering marriage to US Settled Guy

Hello,

I was born and raised in India but have been settled in United States for last decade. I am planning on writing a book about Marriage Culture in the Indian community. My focus is on what Indian women think before marriage about marrying some one settled in US and what they expect from their to be American settled MAN.

I want to know what do Indian women think about America when they want to consider marrying an Indian guy settled in US. How much influence does your parents have in making the decision? What other factors do you consider in making your decision.

What do you think about and know about American Lifestyle ? I know many have seen it first hand, and many have imagination of life in America through media and tv. But honestly i would like to know what do you think about when you are considering marrying an Indian guy settled in USA.

Most of the female those who are from IT background they are facinated to go usa they can settel there b'coz they want to make their mark in their profession. But when it comes to parent most of middle class parent are not ready to send their daughter abroad. That is only possible if groom know girls family personally. Life is easy in usa .. but India Rock... when any festival comes ..... u want to be with your people. I was in uk, for two month its nice place but i was lonely. In india every where you can see indian, if any thing is going in our surrounding we can understand what is happening .. but in alliene country we have to learn their culture also. USA is nice place there we should go and earn money then come to india.

And if someone is think to settel there, then remember one thing you are not going to become rich ..:D but if you come to india after earning from their then you are rich ;).
