I am British and will be marrying my Indian fiance next year, does anyone know the answer to the following questions....?
- How long after marriage until I am classed as Indian citizen?
- am I able to apply for Indian passport (and keep my British passport)
- would I still require a visa to return from my honeymoon abroad?
We are getting married in Goa which requires you to legally register the marriage before you can have a Church wedding, so I am planning to do the Name/Passport changes before the actual church wedding day.
any help would be fantastic, also if anyone out there knows the secret to getting a one year India visa - please share!!
