Tomato and Garlic Chicken Soup
Recipe Summary

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 50 minutes
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients
Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Large onions, finely chopped - 2
Garlic cloves, minced - 4
Chicken broth - 6 cups
Peeled plum tomatoes
Freshly grated cheese -2 tablespoons
Preparing Method
1. Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a heavy large pot over medium heat.
2. Add onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until very tender, about 25 minutes.
3. Add minced garlic and cook, stirring, for 1 minute.
4. Add chicken broth, tomatoes, and 6 tablespoons of grated cheese.
5. Simmer soup uncovered 20 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
6. Season, to taste, with salt and pepper.

Carrot Pakora
Ingredients
Carrots big size-2
Gram flour-1 cup
Chilli powder-2tsp
Perum jeera or sombu -2tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Method
Grate the carrot using the grater.
Sprinkle the the gram flour onto it and mix them without adding any water.
Add the chilli powder, perum jeera and salt to it.
Heat the oil in a pan and sprinkle the mixture in the oil and fry well.

INGREDIENTS
Baby Potatoes - 1/4 kg
Chilli Powder - 2 teaspoons (as per taste)
Salt - taste
Garam Masala - 1/2 teaspooon
Oil - 3-4 tablespoons
Preparing Method
1. Select the small sized potatoes (1 inch diameter). Wash the potatoes and boil them to half cooked condition
(otherwise it will mash while stirring)
2. Peel them and keep it aside
3. Heat the oil in the non stick pan and add the potatoes
4. Now add the salt and allow it to fry by stirring continuously
5. When it turns golden brown add the chilli powder and garam masala powder and mix well for few minutes
6. Now serve hot. This is generally liked by kids and potato is a very good source of protein for kids

BREAD-PIZZA
INGREDIENTS
Bread - 4 slices
Onion - 1/2 small, chopped
Celery - 1/2 stick, chopped
Mushrooms - 3 medium, chopped
Olives - 5 pitted, halved
Capsicum - 1/4 small, chopped
Garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Tomato ketchup - 2 tblsp
Mustard sauce - 1 tsp
Italian Seasoning - 1/2 tsp
Shredded cheese - 1/2 cup
Method
Heat oven to 400 F.
Saute all the vegetables on medium heat for 5 mins. Add salt and garlic powder.
Grease pizza pan. Place the four bread-slices on it.
Mix the tomato-ketchup, mustard and Italian Seasoning and spread on the slices.
Spread the sauted vegetables evenly.
Spread the shredded cheese evenly on top.
Place the pan inside the hot oven and cook till the cheese melts.
Serve hot with milkshake or coffee.
