This looks like one side of the story to me. The more imp quesiton is why did the army men kill 10 civilians. There must be something. I dont think army personnel are crazy to just go around killing anyone.

Is army really violating human rights? And if they are what circumstances are compelling them. Remember those soldiers who r fighting their against ULFA and other militant groups are also somebodys son. And they have nothing to do with people of manipur. Still they have put their lives at stake there. And all that is just for the nation.

So I think the soldiers need to be given an equal hearing. And if anyone has any greifs or complaints there is a court in the country that can do justice.

And if the court do not deliver. There is the president house. There are local politicians. Protest do not always necessarily mean doing the extremes. Hunger strike should be the last option. Even Gandhiji used it as a weapon when everything else failed. And circumstances in those days were far more trying then they are today.
