A couple of suggestions ...

Hi all,

I had a couple of suggestions to make ...

1. When a new member signs up, let the welcome letter contain the username and password with which they have signed up. This helps when the new member comes avisiting next time.

2. Whenever somebody posts a reply to a thread that a member has initiated / is part of, then an auto-mail be sent to the member's mailbox providing this information. This helps in the member coming to this forum automatically.

I proffer these suggestions out of experience - I had forgotten the password that I had entered while signing up on this forum. Plus, I had presumed that an auto-mail will come to me whenever somebody responds to my threads. This didn't happen, and I too forgot about the forum and my postings totally ... :)

Time we changed the time format to something we are used to here--dd/mm/yy.

The American format is all screwed up and I always end up with a month of Sundays.
