Indian Colleges and School
India has gone through a drastic changes in the name of education.

There was a time when gurukuls use to impart education to students.
Students were given education by gurus.
Generally, children of kings and diplomats use to take education in these gurukuls.

But now a days , things have changed.

There are a number of schools and colleges in every city and village.

Quality education is provided in every school.

There are schools for very poor people also.
Free education is provided to these people.
They are also given free mid day meals.

^ There are some things still lacking. There needs to be 100% primary education for all children. Govt. has built schools in villages, but there is hardly any attendance.

Reservation in colleges/higher education institution needs to be merit based. I am all for providing reservation to backward classes as long as they meet the minimum merit guidelines.

India cannot succeed till the overall literacy rate goes up.

Indian education system still needs a lot of change in order to do better. their education system is still not upto mark.

education system in changed a lot.. govt takes several steps to improve education system in rural areas..they provide free lunch,free books..there is lot of pressure over teachers also...its responsibilty of masses also to take intiative..and send there children to schools..and ask them how much education is important..

Before some time India is a greatest place for education. India have larges number of university's ,school and collage as nalanda university.
Now a days India has biggest university. In engineering field India also no.1 place .In America the 60% Indian get the job in engineering,in researching field.
