Well Baboon as to your question why everyone wants to go to Manali is that I think it is a very beautiful place.For relaxing and for the enlightment (as you seem to be much interested in it) Manali is a good place.And as what to do in Manali? I think enjoying the nature at its best is the best thing which one can do there.
