Hi ,
I would like to get some basic information related to garment export (Women's casual apppreal) from india to US.
Kind of information I am looking for is … some sites/forums having some basic information like.
* Govt rules/Export Import license info.
* How the Clearing agent thing works.
* and what could be the Guidelines by US Govt for the same.
I am actually interested in doing the export of ready made garments (typically Lucknow chiken work cloths ) to the US market.
I am totally new to this segment and currently residing in United States.
The main challenge as I can see here is, How to get the US Buyers information.
I would appreciate getting advise from somebody having experience in this field or can pass some information useful for this venture.
