Ulster's bus drivers may allow passengers to travel free of charge instead of staging an all-out strike in the run-up to Christmas, it emerged today.
As the dispute between drivers and Translink management over a new attendance policy heats up, union officials today said drivers do not want to cause disruption to passengers and instead are considering running services as normal - but refusing to collect fares.
