Education
I am not very happy with the education system in India. Everyone knows that India consists of a huge population of ten billion crores. Educating such a large number of masses is really a very tough job.
Education has not spread to various parts of country even now.
More over I think, such education should be imparted which is really beneficial for a person in his work.
There should be vocational courses in school starting from primary school level so that a person can become perfect till his an adult.

I always thought the education in India was pretty good or so I was lead to believe. Heck but what do I know, I've not really been to India since I was only 6 months old, so I really don't know enough about the country. That's one of the reasons I came to this forum, I'm hoping to learn a little more. :)

even i m not happy with the education system in india. As number of students even dont know about their job field till at college level. students are forced to learn each subject which are not of their interest.

Yes I agree with Monica that our education system havn't spread to various parts of our country, especially rural areas.
For this our Govt or organizations has to think and comeup with new programmes like earlier they use to take "Night Schools" for working people.

Education is the part of life.....every one has a right to education....but India's education level is too low...because of huge population....providing a good education to all the peoples of India is not an easy job....Education has not spread all over the country...i think government of India should try to take an action against it...such education should be imparted which is beneficial for a person...government should provide vocational courses in school starting from primary school level so that a person can become an good citizen....:) :)

Education in India is seen as one of the ways to upward social mobility. Good education is caught as a stepping stone to a high flying career. Education System in India currently presents a great contradiction.

I do agree with this statement indian education is not so good..
they just focuse on the theoratical concepts of all subjects
means they think that student learn all subject and if they got good marks they consider them very intelligent but wat's the use if he's not able to apply any of his knowledge practically.
today all companies mainly I.T.Industries pick-up those candidates who have good knowledge of all applications practically.
so i request indian education system must be improved they, should focuse much on practical knowledge instead of theoratical one so that he must got good knowledge of all thing wat he is learning and get easily placed in any good industry.

The Boston Dissentator, nor to rouse the indignant spirit of our Southern dispatch, the Virginia Dissentator, nor even really to push any specific policy. Rather, I'll meander tentatively down an intellectual side-alley, not often marked, let alone traveled, in the hopes of shedding some new light on our current thinking about education and maybe say a thing or two about it's role in modern political issues.

Just saying that you are not happy with the system does not solve the problem...if we are really not happy we should all do something about it...talk to schools...take other parents into confidence and do something that helps renew the system....I firmly believe that our education system needs revamping where each child is able to learn about the skills he or she likes....so we should really do something about it....
