Search Engines on India

Hi everyone

Does anyone know of any good search engines only related to India.
I have come across the following:

I'm looking for a search engine like Google but only for india. not a directory like rediff or khoj etc. Objects Search - India Search Engine (http://www.objectssearch.com/india) is only a search engine. Like that are there any other search engines.

I'm doing a comparative study on search engines and I want to see which search engines of India return more relevant results.

So if you could give me some feedback, would really appreciate it.

Here is a new search engine specifically for India. Sadly most engines are directory based,but Terrawiz is one of few crawler based search engines

my favourite is internetsearch.in, some good links. i know the guy who runs it + he's planning an expansion soon. i think india-search.in points to the same page.

There is a new searchengine that brings up results only within India if you use their catagory search. This is not just a search engine, but a whole entertainment and information website. They add new things weekly, and they do not keep user details like Google do. They do not use popups or spyware or hidden links, and it is refreshing to find a searchengine that gives you what you want.
