Chandigarh (http://www.chandigarhcity.com), Sculpture of the European modernist architect Le Corbusier. The cleanest and most beautiful city in India, it's a charm in concrete.
The name Chandigarh roots (http://www.chandigarhcity.com/religious/temples.htm) from the name of Shri Chandika (Goddess Known as Kaali Maa) whose temple Beautify the north border of Chandigarh. The snow-white dome of Mata Chandi devi's on the North-east of the city is visible from across the lake. It is considered to be an ancient site of major religious significance and is one of the 12 Peeth Sthans for Hindus. Buses take pilgrims between the city and the temple daily.
