I have read so much about marriage in this forum that i really wonder that people are making fun of marriage by writing what ever comes in their mind.
When God created this universe, he sent man and woman. How can people talk nonsense about this sacred relation which should be looked with great honor?

I am not aware of which posts you are talking about. But the concept of marriage is misunderstood by all.People forget that marriage is an alliance where compromise and understanding is the key.Infact most people look at marriage as a platform for gains.I always used to appreciate the catholic church's requirement for marriage where the couple had to undergo marriage preparation course in which they were taught about values of marriage, relating with inlaws, sex issues etc.But nowadays they have also compromised and made the course short and miss out on many things in haste.I strongly feel this course should be included in schools which may save many houses from breaking and bring peace and love in married couples and their family. We strongly need to do this or else by next generation there would be no thing called marriage.

I just registered here just to write something in accord with what Pankaj said. Yes, you are right, catholic church has a preparatory course for engaged couples or those who are seeking to get married (during courtship period). These are kind of speed breakers for them to reflect more on the suitabality before tying the knot. It wasn't the church decision to shorten it but many couples who decided to make a short cut (or even try to skip it altogether, which isn't possible if someone wants to get married in that church). Sadly today's culture is the so-called "fast-food culture" and the media is fueling this ...
