The actions of the state governors have often invited controversy. Governors are appointed and recalled by the ruling cabinet at the Centre. Old loyalties, love of office may make governors vulnerable to many influences. An author in Indiademocracy truly says that “the political system has changed in such a way that powers have become centralized resulting in the public’s alienation and apathy”.

The solution lies in making the office of the governor free from political influence and interference, and also by bringing the post under the judiciary.

Governor, being a constitutional post should never be affect by any government either it is central or state government.I think Governor should not be associated with any political party as it effects the working of this constitutional post.
As in the case of Bihar, the then Governor Buta Singh had acted as he is not a Governor but the active member of rulling party.
First of all the tendancy of call back of Governors by the rulling party must be stopped. To call back any state governor it must be the right of President of India.
