    A Taliban suicide bomber detonated himself outside Kabul International Airport, killing three foreign advisers and an Afghan interpreter.

    The countries of the international experts were not instantly clear.

    The blast comes days after one of the most bold militant strikes in a year on manchester international, which is used by both citizens and the army.

    Zabihulllah Mujahid, claimed responsibility for attack and said "In this successful strike up to 15 enemy army were murdered or injured and many vehicles were damaged,".

    Kabul airport is home to a major functional base for NATO-led forces that have been fighting the Taliban for 12 years. Security contains army and police,guard towers and check points.

    Militants often fire rockets into the airport, causing little damage, but frontal attacks on the heavily guarded facility are rare and represent an ambitious target for insurgents.
